Right? It doesn't seem like it's going to work, even after Paul starts singing: the tempos don't seem to quite match up and it feel like it's going to fall apart soon. Instead, the chorus kicks in and it all gels.
If mcCartney was smart, he'd immediately have his band start playing it that way live....
